Description
Aconitum napellus is an excellent short acting remedy also known as Monkshood. The entire plant is used except for the roots. An especially useful remedy when symptoms arise from sudden shock or fright. This quick acting remedy can also be used for sudden change in weather or exposure to dry cold winds. Physical and mental restlessness with anxiousness are key features that run through this remedy.
Headache sudden onset of bursting, throbbing headache. Sensation of band around the head.
Head Injury to the eye to relieve pain and inflammation.
Ear pain with increased sensitivity to noise.
Respiratory Initial stages of common cold having sneezing with clear, hot, nasal discharge. Burning in throat with eye pain.
Best remedy for constant short dry cough. This short cough starts suddenly and mainly after midnight.
Fever unexpected sudden high fever after exposure to cold weather.
Bitter taste for everything except water

Patient wants to be covered always
Dose Take 15 drops of Aconitum Napellus mother tincture in half a cup of normal water 3 times a day or after every 30 minutes during fever till fever subsides, unless otherwise prescribed by physician.
